Program
All of the teachers are professional Early Childhood Educators. They plan and prepare a fun, interesting, positive learning environment through which your child will enhance her/his own level of development. Through play experiences and the guidance of the Early Childhood Educators, your child will be exposed to situations that will stimulate curiosity, initiative and independence; self-esteem and decision-making capabilities; interaction with, and respect for others; physical activity that develops gross-motor skills; communication skills; and fine-motor skills. Some of the activities that are presented every day for your child to explore are sand, water, play-dough, blocks, puzzles, bead stringing, peg boards, books, science materials, easel painting and a family life centre. We have animals that the children can learn to care for. Music, games, finger-plays and stories are part of our everyday activities. Outdoor play/neighborhood walks are also part of the daily program. Nutritious snacks and a hot meal at lunchtime are provided.
